It was the first import show I ever attended and it was a big part of getting me into custom cars. I used to attend every year, until financial problems forced HIN to cut down on tour dates.<\/p>\n<div class=\"postImage\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Hot Import Nights Chicago 2016\" src=\"http:\/\/img.benlevy.com\/auto\/show\/hin2016\/img_0795.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nIt was great to attend the show again for the first time in half a decade, but things really weren&#8217;t what they used to be. HIN is still a car show and concert, but in Chicago, the music headliners weren&#8217;t quite what they used to be, attractions like drift competitions were missing, and the show wasn&#8217;t as big as some of the other car shows that take place around Chicago.
