I got to see Neon Trees live for the first time at Salesforce Connections. Salesforce connections is in industry convention, so this wasn\u2019t the typical concert. I am a Salesforce Commerce Cloud developer by trade, and I paid for my tickets to Salesforce Connections out of my own pocket. You could consider this the most expensive concert I ever went to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had heard about Neon Trees at different festivals over the years, but I hadn\u2019t really kept up with their music. I had also never seen them live. My trip to Salesforce Connections was all about connecting with other developers and finding out about the future of the platform, but the concert was a nice bonus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band was a curious choice for the organizers since fans of Neon Trees tend to be younger than your typical Salesforce professional. This fact was pointed out by Tyler Glenn, the lead singer, when the band was onstage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neon Trees have been at this for a long time, so they know how to rock a crowd. I appreciated Tyler\u2019s honesty on stage. He talked about coming out as gay and how much he loves performing and getting to be his true self.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tyler also quipped about the fact that the Neon Trees were the opening act. It was very curious because Neon Trees was the bigger band, but the fact that they played first made it easier for me to watch their whole performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
