Last weekend was the Chicago Volkwagen Organization’s<\/a> annual Midwest Treffen<\/a>. Treffen 14 featured an autocross, DCI competition, pre-show party, and VW\/Audi car show. It is an epic weekend when Volkswagen and Audi owners come together to enjoy their cars.<\/p>\n

The car show is my favorite part of the weekend and is Treffen’s largest event. Owners have been known to bring cars from all over the country to compete at the car show. This show filled up much of the parking lot at Oakton Community College (in Des Plaines). There seemed to be fewer cars than there were in the past though. All of my pictures are in the Midwest Treffen 14 gallery<\/a>.<\/p>\n
