The World of Wheels car show is going on this weekend so I went out to check out some hot rods and try out a new camera. There were four major types of cars in my opinion. The first set of cars was the hot rods which were typically Fords from the 30’s with open wheels. My second group was the classics which I would consider all types of cars in the style of ’57 Chevys to ’69 Camaros. I considered the third group to be a kind of new classic. Those would be cars from the late mid 70’s to the 80’s (a Buick Grand National is a good example). The last group is the newer cars such as a Ford SVT Cobra. There were also many custom bikes, but I’ve never been too interested motorcycles.
The hot rods didn’t do much for me because after a while they all started to look the same. The Ford Model A was a pretty cool car though. I really liked the Camaros, Firebirds, and Novas the most (you can find pictures of those below). IMO, cars like the Grand Nationals and Regals were taking a beating. Since they’ve been pulled into the dub culture I think people with questionable taste are becoming more interested in them. My favorite newer car was probably this Ford Mustang GT.
