Over the weekend, I was thinking about how long it had been since I’d seen an R34 Skyline. For a while, they were regulars at car shows. Back in the day, MotoRex was importing these as quickly as they could, so I just assumed R34 Skylines would be everywhere. Things didn’t really work out for MotoRex, so we’re still waiting 25 years to bring new models over legally.

This got me thinking back to the RPM Car Show back in 2010. There were actually three different blue R34 Skylines at that show. Not sure when I’ll ever see that happen again in Chicago. The Top Speed Skyline GT-R isn’t even around anymore.

The Bayside Blue GT-R on the Nismo wheels is my favorite. You don’t need much to make those cars look good.
