Hot Import Nights (HIN) used to be my favorite car show in Chicago. It was the first import show I ever attended and it was a big part of getting me into custom cars. I used to attend every year, until financial problems forced HIN to cut down on tour dates.
It was great to attend the show again for the first time in half a decade, but things really weren’t what they used to be. HIN is still a car show and concert, but in Chicago, the music headliners weren’t quite what they used to be, attractions like drift competitions were missing, and the show wasn’t as big as some of the other car shows that take place around Chicago. Some of my favorite cars from the show are below.
Nissan GT-R
Infiniti G37 coupe
Mitsubishi Evo
Hyundai Genesis coupe
Nissan Skyline
Nissan 370Z
