In May, the car meets around Chicago really ramp up. I had a particularly busy morning on May 14th because open houses were happening at Iron Gate Motor Condos and TF Works. I was really looking forward to that morning because it would be another chance to check out the RWB Chicago space and I could check out the shop at TF Works. I got some bad news that Friday because I learned that I had to work that weekend, and I would not be able to make either event. Not making it to the earlier events led to an unexpected opportunity though.
After a few hours of working in the morning, I finally headed out to a car show at Mancuso Collision. I was buzzing along on the highway, when I saw these wide fenders ahead of me. Nohra, the RWB 993, was ahead of me. I pulled out my camera and got some shots of the car in motion. I have gotten pretty good at taking these rolling shots. These are never planned, so I have to quickly change my settings and get a steady shot even though I am shooting with one hand.
I started out sad because I did not get to see the car at Iron Gate, but I got an opportunity to get some really unique shots. It was not what I planned, but I was very happy with the results.
The pics that came out convinced me to finally put up a store. Prints of these pictures are now available on my online store: https://benlevy.pixieset.com/cars/
