I decided to enter my Miata in the 2023 Tuner Galleria car show. Being in the show got me early access, so I took some pics of the cars coming in and setting up inside. This one-day show is part of the World of Wheels car show. Organizers make entrants choose a time to load their cars, but most people just arrived between noon and 1PM anyway. Since I was stuck in this long line outside of the convention center in Rosemont, I started taking pictures.
The from X-Treme Graphics had just arrived with their cars for Tuner Galleria. They also had a set of cars in World of Wheels, so loading in cars was an all-day process for them. Both of the Nissan 240SX coupes were clean, but the wrap on the Toyota Supra was really shining.
Jon Jon Motorsports also had a slew of cars for the show. Their show works on all sorts of cars, so their were Subarus, Mazdas, JDM cars, and even an AWD Civic.
The cars lined up were a nice collection of different styles. The cars were mainly Japanese, but there were also a few American and German cars that were going to the show. I noticed that there were quite a few cars outside on air suspensions. I think that’s going to be a growing trend this year.
I was relieved to finally make it upstairs after more than an hour of waiting in line. The check-in process was pretty quick and easy. They directed cars around so teams could park together, but my Miata was going solo, so they just sent me to a little space that was open. It was really cool to get an early look at the cars that were in the show. I got a chance to take some pics without crowds and talk to a few owners.
