World of Wheels in is one of the biggest indoor classic car shows in Chicago (all pictures from World of Wheels in Chicago). This a great way to start off the year because the craftsmanship of these cars is very hard to beat. Some cars look exactly like they did when they rolled off the assembly line, while others are original interpretations of the owners.
I feel like this show had a stronger presence of cars from the 50’s and 60’s, but unfortunately fewer rat rods. This Ford truck using a Jagermeister theme was one of my favorites at the show.
The owner of the Ford below took a different approach and went for simple and smooth. I would consider it to be one of the best looking cars I saw at the show.
This 1947 Ford Sportsman featured amazing woodwork. It’s the kind of thing you usually only see on antique boats.
This wild 1955 Chevy 150 was also an eye catcher. I wish designs like this worked with modern cars.
Here are some of my other favorites from the show.
