Red Tulips at a vacant lot in Washington Park in Chicago
I went to Washington Park on May 7, 2023 to see the Redefining Redlining installation by Amanda Williams. She, and 4501 volunteers planted 100,000 tulips in a space where 21 homes once stood. Some of Chicago's most unique architecture is on the South side, so it's a shame to see buildings demolished and lots left empty.
