This Porsches & Pastries took place at Labriola Bakery & Cafe in Oak Brook. This event included a judged Show and Shine, but the event was mainly a time for all of the Porsche owners to get together at the beginning of the season. The Porsche 911S was my favorite of the older models. The car was in immaculate condition. The GT3 RS was a great example of how extreme the modern 911s can get.
The 996s were also a bit of a surprise. Mike's Speed Yellow 996 Turbo is a really clean example, but the red 996 Turbo S was a surprise to me. The Turbo S was a rare option in that generation. The yellow 996 GT3 was a cool example of the more track-focused, naturally-aspired approach.
