Over the weekend, the guys over at Midwest Streets organized a meet at a Fuddruckers in Schaumburg. The parking lot was packed with more modded cars than you could shake a stick at. The Evos and GT-Rs were plentiful on that day.

The first thing to catch my eye was an R34 Skyline GT-R. A non-US car with two turbos is usually a sign of a good car meet.

There were a surprisingly large amount of new GT-Rs at the show. I particularly liked this GT-R on BBS LM Wheels. The Nissans that really caught my eye were these red Z-cars though.

There were also a whole lot of Evos at this meet. There was good representation from every generation that has been sold in the US. This red Evolution XI was probably my favorite one at the show.

There were very few Hondas that attended. A guy showed up with a Mugen Civic Si, but he could not resist the urge to rev and try to attract attention. It got old fast. I think that this S2000 and NSX helped offset all of that though.

This was great meet, but I couldn’t make it to the second leg, which was at Foster Beach in Chicago. You can see the rest of the pictures here.
