Tuner Evolution one of the national car shows to take place in the Chicagoland area for 2020. This has become one of my favorite shows, so I was glad they were able to pull this off. I took nearly 600 pictures at the show. You can see them all here: Pictures from Tuner Evolution Chicago in 2020

I stayed for the whole show and I still wasn’t able to see every car. There were so many car, but I will try to share some of my favorites here.

Black Nissan 240SX and Orange Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution with their hoods open.

Many cars came in from out of town, but this 240SX and Laver Evo came all the way from Colorado. Both cars were extremely nice builds. The S13 240SX was a Frenkenstein car that had parts from cars like the Silvia and 300ZX. All of it put together to make the ultimate s-chassis car. The lava orange Lacer Evolution was beautiful, but was still a build that focused on performance rather than just trying to look fast.

This grey Lotus Evora was one of the stars of the show. It is rare to see ab Evora, and a widebody one like this is certainly unheard of. The people at Street Aero did a great job of creating a kit that gave this car such a commanding presence.

Blue, k-swapped, Honda Civic hatchback.

This EG Civic Hatchback was one of the cleanest and most professional builds at the show. I have always been a fan of the 90s Hondas, but this car was not even something I could imagine in my younger years. The entire car was stripped, sanded, and repainted. Then the best components were put into this Civic. With an engine and brakes from a Type-R, this car has serious performance. It’s a nice reminded of classic VTEC Hondas.

There were some very nice VIP style cars at Tuner Evolution. This Brown Infiniti Q45 was a beautifully modified car. This car is impossibly low, and the custom fenders were a really nice touch. I’m glad this car made the trip from Minnesota.

Mint Green Toyota Supra

There were a few old and new Supras at the show. This mk5 Toyota Supra stood out because of it’s mint green paint. The styling of this car was relatively subtle, despite the huge wing on the back. This kit does a good job of blending with the car’s curves.

Black Audi S4 Avant

This black Audi S4 looked so slick. This car has RS4 fenders welded in. They give the car a wide look and allow it to tuck these huge Rotiform wheels. I love the B5 Audis, but I was not expecting to see a car like this.

There were so many other cars I loved, but I don’t want to drag on forever.
